Mainstream Services Inc. is a privately owned and operated medical billing company committed to providing exceptional services to our client base and those they service. We offer a team of professional, dedicated and experienced employees with more than 20 years of industry and corporate leadership experience. Our team is professionally educated and trained. Our goal is to ensure our healthcare providers and their staff can focus on the quality medical care they provide to their patients with the peace of mind that Mainstream Services Medical Billing are focusing on their medical claim processing needs. We service various specialties nationwide.
What inspired you to start your business?
What inspired me to start Mainstream Services Inc. was a long term interest in medical billing and claim processing. From my first full time job at an insurance company processing medical claims my interest has only strengthened over the years. As I continued to grow professionally it became apparent to me that all of the experiences, training and knowledge I gained were preparing me for my company.
What has been the biggest challenge in your business and how have you dealt with it?
My biggest challenge in business has been growth. Owning a company of this caliber takes time and nurturing to grow. Our clients essentially trust their livelihoods to us. We do not take this lightly and neither do they. We have to build relationships and trust, both take time and a lot of effort.
What would you say has contributed to your business success?
I can sum this up in 3 words: Prayer, perseverance and performance.
What advice would you like to offer to other women/moms who are thinking about starting a business?
There is nothing you can’t accomplish if you want it bad enough. Put in the work and the success/rewards will follow.
What has been the most rewarding aspect of being an entrepreneur?
The most rewarding aspects for me has been seeing my vision for my company come to life, the flexibility I have in my day and meeting a spectrum of new people across various industries.
What is your favorite tool/resources you use for your business and why?
My favorite tool/resource is my Smartphone. It goes everywhere with me and I can get a lot of work done while I’m out visiting with prospective clients without having to carry my laptop.
Is there anything you wish you’d done differently?
I wish I’d stepped out on faith sooner
