Tell us about your business:
Country Gourmet Home is a gourmet food mix business that focuses on mixes that require little to no ingredients. In addition we use real fruit and vegetables in our recipies providing our customers with amazing products.

What inspired you to start your business?
CGH is ran by a husband and wife team. We started an at home business to allow one of us to stay at home with our two boys. We first started with home decor and later got involved with private lable food mixes. We enjoyed the food mix business so much that when given the opportunity to take over as an actual mix manufacturer we jumped at the opportunity.

What has been the biggest challenge in your business and how have you dealt with it?
As with any at home business the hardest challenge can be juggling all the details of the business while still attending to house hold and children needs.

What would you say has contributed to your business success?
Being able to have a husband and wife team. Working together on our business and watching it grow from all of our hard work.

What advice would you like to offer to other women/moms who are thinking about starting a business?

Start small and invest back into your company. It is easy to get overwhelmed and invest too much at the beggining. Let your business grow and expand with out overwhelming your bank account.

What is your favorite tool/resources you use for your business and why?
Networking sites for stay at home parents. There are so many resources and you can learn so much from those that are in the same shoes.

Share one business goal you have for your business:
To continue to provide our customers with great products and continuing to provide personalized custoemr service.
